When a project is announced months or years before it goes public, it’s Vaporware. Many projects going through #ICO belong to this category.
In their ICO phase, most projects do not have a working model, which means that investors only buy tokens in the hope that a product will be released in the future.
In some cases it never happens, in some cases it ends successfully.
